It’s a busy few weeks for our acrobatic gymnasts, with the 2019 European Age Group Championships and the 2019 European Championships taking place in Holon, Israel on back-to-back weekends.
Over the course of nine days of competition, more than 700 gymnasts will take to the competition floor.
Here’s all you need to know.
24th-27th – 2019 European Age Group Championships
The age group event will see gymnasts in the 11-16 and 12-18 age groups compete in balance, dynamic and combined routines.
Qualifications across all competitions will take place on the opening two and half days, with the first medals decided in the 11-16 men’s pair, mixed pair and men’s group events on Saturday evening, with the remaining finals concluding throughout Sunday.
30th October-3rd November – 2019 Acrobatic European Championships
The European Championships will see both junior (13-19 age group) and senior gymnasts compete across five days.
On the opening day, our junior gymnasts will aim to qualify for finals, with seniors getting their opportunity to shine on the second, before the first finals take place later that day.
During the senior competition, we’ll be filming the British routines from finals, and you’ll be able to watch the routines back following the competition on our YouTube channel.
Good luck to all gymnasts and coaches.
